Get involved in Skating or Drill Team

Skateboarding is a great way for youth who may not be attracted to traditional team sports to express themselves athletically in an individual manner, build confidence and self-esteem and gain the confidence they need to do well in other areas.

Curriculum focuses on skateboard deck building and introduces physics, math, hand tool woodworking, graffiti, and street and stencil art.  Youth are introduced to skateboard tricks, terminology, safety and equipment and how to properly fall and maintain balance.

For More Information you may obtain an application after school near the Social Justice building at Walnut Park Middle School.
